Barrow Road

The client and his family lived in this modern 1970’s property in a beautiful and peaceful part of the city with extensive gardens and woodland. The brief was to extend the house to form a new ‘heart’ to the house with new kitchen and service area and further living accommodation on the first floor. The front of the house was reconfigured to allow for more parking, landscaping, Cycle store and recycling store. The circulation to the house was reconfigured with new entrances and storage facilities. High quality wood, lead, glass and steel was used to merge the old and the new elevation.
